Sounds unlikely, but it’s true.
Case in point: Vortex Companies out of Houston,Texas, three states away from our hometown in Indiana. A global leader in trenchless water and infrastructure solutions, Vortex creates turnkey municipal, industrial, and commercial water management systems, worldwide (LINK: www.vortexcompanies.com.)
Interestingly, this is the third consecutive year Vortex has tapped Jacquie's Gourmet Catering for their annual company event always held in Indianapolis.
Why? In part because we lean into what the Vortex event planning team wants their staff and customers to take away from their annual corporate events. They looked for a partner that would work hard to execute their creative and strategic visions together, year to year.
For example: Vortex past themes were 90's Retro and Neon Party. Jacquie’s team went with their approach and came up with a multitude of fun, creative and tasty options – each underlining the Vortex themes.
For the 90's theme in 2023, we created “After school” retro food stations with Eggos, Pizza Rolls and Pretzel Balls. A Saved by the Bell theme with rectangle pizza, sloppy joe sliders, Bosco sticks, and mini beef and bean burritos. Another high light was a snack stations with cosmic brownies, fruit rolls ups, cheeseballs and ice cream cups with wooden spoons. There was even a Jurassic Park station serving carved 'beast.'
This year Vortex opted for an "All American" event featuring a lively arcade-type atmosphere. Jacquie’s found just the right vibe at Industry Event Centre, an event venue on the Southwest side of downtown Indianapolis. Vortex envisioned foods from around the states separated into four stations: EASTCOAST, MIDWEST/CENTRAL STATES, WEST COAST AND GULF COAST representing 20 classic states' foods. Again, another smashing success!
We’re great at matching cuisine with corporate themes, and keeping the event space running smoothly and the food always satisfying. No wonder so much of our corporate catering is repeat business. Even when the company itself may be hundreds of miles away.
