Tis the season for thanking clients and staff in the best of all possible ways – with food! Especially great food! We have some terrific ways to pull together a company party honoring employee dedication, company’s achievements, and toasting to the new year.
There are so many fun ways to put together a glorious celebration this season!
Here are a few of our favorite ways to put together a glorious celebration:
End the week extra early on a Friday afternoon with a big luncheon – and an early start to the weekend. Lots of companies do this to kick off the holiday season – perfectly side-stepping the more traditional Christmas party per se. The idea is to load up the serving tables with all kinds of favorite luncheon foods – from fun and healthy to extravagant. All freshly and organically prepared and served by Jacquie’s Gourmet Catering. (Naturally, we always include lots of take-home boxes for leftovers.)
One company we know presents each and every pre-Thanksgiving departing employee with a fresh Indiana turkey and a delicious apple or pecan pie (we happen to know a great source for these!)
BONUS: Another company adds a cookie table after their pre-holiday lunch with mounds of top-notch baked holiday cookies, (from huge oatmeal raisin cookies to chocolate chip cookies, iced sugar cookies to gingerbread men, and everything in between). Everyone gets a large bakery box to fil-to- overflowing, to take home with them.
Another local business we know starts off the first week of December with a holiday employee breakfast.
Our chefs are there to cook to order waffles, pumpkin or apple pancakes, Eggs Benedict or Florentine, crepes with every kind of filing you can imagine, fresh baked croissants and jam, and then; tops it off with an amazing coffee and tea station and fresh squeezed orange juice.
Add a smoothie bar for more fun. Offering lots of fresh fruit to mix into a healthy smoothie makes a super-sweet thank you!
Staff is invited to linger, or come back for seconds. Great way to thank early-risers, especially at a busy hospital, dental or doctors’ practice, or business noted for its super-busy pre-holidays.
Providing breakfast, lunch or brunch for employees expresses approval for a year done well – or in advance for the busy season ahead – in a way everyone can appreciate!
