A 50th birthday is truly a milestone! For one special gal we know, it was nothing short of sensational! -- not only for the ‘birthday girl,’ – and but also for all 106 guests.
The reason? Great planning! (From both friends and family as well as help from Jacquie’s fantastic, seasoned and creative team of party planners!)
The date was set for a Saturday evening event with guests gathering at 7 in a lovely backyard in Greensburg. But the planning began well over a month before.
A large clear tent had been staked into place the day prior. Glittering string lights and great wooden chandeliers were hung from the tent rafters, cross-crossing over 3 long rows of wooden tables, draped in white linen.
A team of florists assembled the centerpieces, all beautifully arranged in tones of peach and pink, which cascaded down the middle of each table.
Jacquie’s Gourmet Catering team was on site by 3 pm, when intense food prep began.
The event kicked off with a two amazing bars (and great bartenders!) stocked to the gills with super premium beers, wines, champagne, and prosecco, as well as lots brand name liquor and lots of mixers.

The dessert, a favorite of the birthday-ed one, Apple Crisp with Whipped Cream, fit perfectly with all the entrées, and was delightfully received. (We even had extras on hand in case a few folks asked for seconds… which they did!)
It was a picture-perfect evening, with very happy hosts, guests with full stomachs, and of course -- a birthday celebrant with an evening filled with wonderful memories.
