Taking charge of planning a menu for your crowd is something we do every day – with all types of restrictions. But – since we do this kind of thing all the time, we have systems in place to help smooth the road and offer pleasingly satisfying food to all in your party.
Not only do we watch food trends, but we also pay attention to which types of appetizers, main courses, and side dishes are consistently the most popular. We are also great at substitutions – and often have food swaps we can do right in the middle of your event – even when somebody’s special diet was never mentioned ahead of time.
Yep, we know what we’re doing! And we have some pretty good ideas of foods almost everybody likes that can be adjusted for those in your crowd that have preferences.
Let us know something about the group you are hosting and watch us get to work to set up a preliminary menu. (Roasted tenderloin vs. Crab-stopped strip steak? Spiced pork with braised bacon vs. Chicken Piccata?) We can even taste-test with you ahead of time. It’s a lot of fun doing taste pairings, letting your taste buds decide what kinds of side dishes and appetizers go best with which main courses.
In fact, we also have lots of menu suggestions on our website grouped by home-grown availability, visual appeal, price point, sustainability, popularity, and scalability. Using these suggested menus as a base, it’s easy to add or subtract menu items – and adjust for groups of 50 to 400.
