Sunday afternoon, March 21 marked the occasion of a very special wedding happily celebrated at Tinker House,1101 East 16th Street, downtown in Indianapolis.
Both the wedding venue and the catering were donated by Tinker House and Jacquie’s Gourmet Catering, respectively. Both did so at the request of family and friends of a lovely bride, Stephanie, who is actively fighting a particularly difficult cancer diagnosis.
To honor her fighting spirit and the love and support of her fiancé, Chris, friends, and families, Jacquie’s was happy to step up with a menu to suit the happy couple and their 100+ guests.
Tinker House – an absolutely gorgeous place to host a wedding -- opened to guests at 3 pm Sunday, with the ceremony set to begin at 3:30. Friends and family swooped in earlier in the day to prepare the high-ceilinged room for the festivities and add lovely fresh spring flowers at each table.
Immediately after the ceremony, guests got to know everyone in the family’s circle with a generous cocktail hour from 4 pm to 5 pm.
