Nestled in acres of mature trees at 1468 West Stone Crossing in Greenwood, The Barn at Bay Horse is a charmingly rustic place to hold an event. Just 20 minutes south of Indy, The Barn at Bayhorse is a welcome and easy getaway from downtown event space, with lots of parking.
Formerly a family home, the facility is actually eight barns, artfully merged into one – giving it plenty of possibilities for holding events inside and out.
The rustic barn has a lovely warm feel, but also features multiple upgrades, making it especially perfect for a wedding. The event barn seats up to 350 for a sit down dinner, but can holds its own at 800 for a cocktail reception or speakers event. Round tables and chairs for 300 are included with the barn rental as are six large custom-made farm tables.
Separate bridal and grooms’ suites for instance, plus dressing rooms, an updated catering kitchen, and even a well appointed “saloon” for cocktails and smaller receptions.
The acreage surrounding the barn and saloon are also lush, green and appealing. It’s not uncommon to have the Barn booked for an outdoor wedding and an inside reception as the evening grows dark. More casual corporate events are frequently hosted inside and out, depending on the weather and activities.
