Reis Nichols Breitling ‘Legend’ watch event

Breitling watches are having a moment. Those that enjoy wearing a statement watch are discerning individuals, which is why this visually stunning and highly accurate watch line is among Reis Nichols’ most popular.

The Nichols’ Breitling Event was by invitation, on a summer evening earlier this month, at the Nichols’ 3535 E. 86^th Street location, for 50 ‘watchful’ guests.

Jacquie’s Gourmet Catering was honored to be asked to provide visually stunning and deliciously edible appetizers and cocktails during this exclusive event.

Our wait staff served guests a decadent and beautiful assortment of meal-worthy appetizers, including:

• Tuna Tartare in a Japanese Radish with Edible Orchid
• Pork Belly with Fig Preserves and Microgreens
• New Zealand Baby Lamb Cutlets with Kumquat Relish
• Homemade Flatbread with Burrata, Heirloom Cherry Tomatoes, and Fresh Basil

For the lighter appetite, we also served:

• Skewered Mini Chicken and Waffles with Scallions and Canadian Maple Syrup
• Saffron Risotto Cakes with Aged Parmesan

We were asked to create a special cocktail (which we love to do!) in honor of the event. We called the crisp, timely concoction ‘The Legend,’ appropriately enough.

For those who preferred to sip their favorite beverages, there was an open premium standards cocktail bar, as well as imported beer, premium wine, and soft drinks.
