If you have yet to experience Laurel Hall, you are in for a treat. An impressive 1916 Jacobean Revival manor house, Laurel Hall is set on six acres of woods on Indianapolis' northeast side. Because the grounds and building are romantic as well as beautiful and historic, it has become a favorite for weddings.
Jacquie’s Gourmet Catering was honored to provide a lovely dinner reception there this past month for the Waltke family and bridal guests.
The wedding itself was held at the chapel on the grounds. After the 3:30 ceremony, guests arrived for hors d’oeuvres including Mini Grilled Cheese and Mini BLTs with Chipolte mayo.
Dinner was elegantly plated on gold-rimmed china set on round eight-top tables. It was served to guests beginning with Asparagus Salad with Tarragon vinaigrette, and progressing to Coq Au Vin, braised in red wine, Whipped Potatoes with Basil Pesto, and French Green Beans with Shallots tied with Chive.
Jacquie was happy to provide a vegan dinner alternative (Stuffed Portabella Mushrooms with Roasted Vegetables) as well as a Gluten Free dinner (Grilled Chicken Breast with Grilled Vegetables). Because there were several children in attendance, a special children’s entrée of chicken fingers was also served. We are always pleased to accommodate your guests in this way!
Naturally, the wedding cake was the dessert centerpiece, and served in style by our terrific wait staff.
