The Arts Council of Indianapolis’ Gallery 924 (924 N. Pennsylvania Street, Indianapolis) was the setting for an intimate gathering for one of our clients who was celebrating her 70th birthday. The Vernick family wanted a small but extravagant birthday party for Mrs. Vernick with only five guests in attendance. We created the perfect atmosphere for this affair, choosing items that we would want to have if it were our own birthday.
Modern Décor
The décor featured white dupioni silk tablecloths, ghost Chavari chairs and contemporary plating, so as not to overshadow the colorful, contemporary art on the gallery walls.
The modern table and white elements allow the art and food to share the spotlight.

To complement the extravagant tablescape and elegant surroundings, guests were treated to a seven-course meal fit for royalty:

Line-Caught Halibut with Little Veggies Carrot, Turnip and Micro Finés Herbés Mix on a bed of Parsnip Puree

Viking Lamb Loin with Truffle Vinaigrette and Oven Dried Tomatoes, Stuffed Portabello Mushroom
SEVENTH COURSE
Mini Poached Pear stuffed with Blue Cheese, Apples and Walnuts with a Caramel Sauce
